Hi,
I'm having some issues with Multiple Monitors crashing processes. I tried it a couple months back on my work PC with version 4 and ran into issues with it then, as well. Most notably is that it crashes Notepad almost instantly upon launching it with the following message, "Notepad has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program."
This is reproducible every time, even with the release of version 5. I ran into issues a few months ago where after a reboot, it caused explorer to crash upon logging in to Windows. It kept crashing until I was finally able to figure out that it was Multiple Monitors causing the issue. After I killed the process, I was able to login. I've tried several things--turning off most options in Window Settings, disabling hotkeys, disabling mouse actions, etc. Nothing seems to work.
If there's a way to disable everything except the taskbar, I'd love that...that's really all I'm looking for. I'm running Windows 7 SP1. It works great on every other PC, except my work one!
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this further?
Thanks.

Are these virtual desktops or just the traditional ones. What happens if you turn off Actual Multiple Monitors?

Hello Eddie.
Are you able to launch Actual Multiple Monitors not on the system start up, after that manually?
Could you send us your configuration files using the "Send to Tech Support" tool?
Best regards.
