Windows Error Reporting Icon keeps showing up on the 1st monitors taskbar

Here's a screenshot of the problem mentioned above:

This icon is always present on the AWM taksbar of monitor 1 (monitor 2 is the main monitor with the Windows taskbar). There is however no window associated with that icon.

Any idea what that means and/or what is causing this?

Thanks already!

Cheers David.P

Hello David.

What does the right click on this icon give? Is there the jump list? Can you unpin this icon? And what about right click with shift pressed?

Best regards.

Hi Bogdan and thank you for the reply,

The icon can only be moved, not un-pinned. Left-clicking makes it "go down" buttonlike as any icon, but doesn't yield any action. Right-clicking does nothing, with and without shift pressed.

Hello David.

Have you encountered the Windows Error Reporting window since you've installed Actual Window Manager?

Best regards.

What exactly version of AWM are you running?

Could you temporarily install the latest AWM beta and make the following steps:
1. launch AWM 7.3 beta 1
2. Click the AWM taskbar having the Windows Error Reporting Icon with shift pressed.
3. Select the Debug item
4. Make a screenshot of the debug window and send show it in this thread
Best regards.

Alright, I've followed the proposed steps now, and this is what the AWM 7.3 beta 1 debug function gives:

Obviously this has to do with the Windows Error Reporting service    :?:

Hello David.

What about jumplist menu (right click on the taskbar icon) in AWM 7.3 beta 1. If the menu with the "Unpin..." item has appeared then use it to unpin the icon.

If not, reset your AWM taskbar by deleting the "taskbar states" key in the following register path using regedit.exe:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Actual Tools\Actual Window Manager\Command Center\Plugins\MultimonTaskbar

It will remove ALL pinned icons from the AWM taskbar.

After that you can get back to 7.2.

Best regards.

This has worked.

Thanks again,
