Hello
I recently wanted to use my secondary monitor for web surfing and primary for League of Legends (the game) simultaneously using AMM 3.4.2 on my brothers computer. I tried to use the ignore deactivation mode, which worked initially. However, when I needed to deactivate the "ignore deactivation mode" by repressing the hotkey, it did not work. I was trying to do this, as I needed to keep the mouse within the primary to scroll the map and such.
Is there a work around for this problem? I look around the forums and found similar problems, but none of the solutions worked for me.
Thanks,
Raymond

Hello raymond.
Try to enable the "Compatibility mode" option for the "Ignore deactivation" feature (Hotkeys > Ignore deactivation > Compatibility Mode).
Check whether the problem persists and let us know.
Best regards.

Hi Bogdan
Where is the compatibility mode? I tried to right click ignore deactivation and no options appeared.
Thanks

Hello Raymond.
Sorry, the compatibility mode is available in version 4.0 and higher.
You can download AMM 4.0 with the trial period and check whether the problem persists.
Best.

Hi Bogdan
No it did not work, it still kicked the game out of its screen. Are there any other solutions?

Hello raymond.
Could you clarify what is the problem and give me step-by-step description.
Are you unable to turn the Ignore Deactivation off? But then you write that "it still kicked the game out of its screen" - does it mean that the game window is minimized? Actually, that's what happens when the Ignore Deactivation is turned off.
Best regards.

Hi Bogdan
Ignored Deactivation is turned on and the game continues to be minimized. I am trying to prevent the game from being minimized and continue surfing on my secondary monitor. The game is running on the primary monitor.
Thanks,
Raymond

Hello raymond.
Do you mean that Ignore Deactivation worked right with League of Legends and then stopped to work?
Please do the following:
- Launch Actual Multiple Monitors
- In the notification area (system tray) context menu for Actual Multiple Monitors (right click on the Actual Multiple Monitors icon) select “Logging” and then “Enable logging”
- In the same context menu select Logging > Show Log Window. It opens the Log window, where Actual Multiple Monitors displays the windows which it tracks, Settings that are applied to these windows etc.
- If the window contains some entries, then right-click the working area and select the “Clear Log” item.
- When the log window is clear, launch League of Legends and check whether the new entries appear in the log window and what setting are applied to it.
- Send us the info about these entries. You can just make a screenshot of the log window and send us.
Best regards.
