If I choose "Cascade", "Show windows stacked" or "Show windows side by side" by right clicking the taskbar, all maximised windows on the other monitor are restored to their previous size. I assume they should remain maximised.

You are right, only the windows on one monitor should be affected.
Thank you for reporting this bug! We'll try to fix it in the next beta.

The issue appears to be fixed in the just released beta 2. Please could you confirm this?

My apologies! I can confirm the issue is fixed in beta 3 (I had not checked it in beta 2).
