1. If you encounter some freezing or system crash - please, don't hurry into blaming AWM for this, remember: there are thousands of another AWM users that don't have any problems with it. Just
try to repeat
the problem to make sure it's stable. If so, then provide us with the
exact way
to get the same result as yours. Otherwise, send us your AWM settings, PC configuration (CPU model, amount of memory, video card model) and software environment (please, use
msinfo32.exe
utility for this) to support@actualtools.com.
2. If you can't foresee exact consequences -
don't use
potentially problematic "All Windows" options such as
"Ghost", "Automatic Rollup", "Minimizing"
or use them
with extreme care
. "All Windows" options are applied to
every
window, even it's some kind of unwanted ones (like Taskbar, Desktop etc.). We'll try to improve the situation with "All Windows" options until 4.0 release, for now use them carefully.
3. We still have some incompatibility issues with Stardock tools like Windows Blinds and others. But we're working on those issues and will try to fix them until 4.0 release. If you find another product you suspect is incompatible with AWM - please, inform us about it and provide the exact name and version of that application, and also describe the incompatibility itself.

5. The bug was found in the beta 2 code: if you try to import your previous version settings within the Install Wizard and leave the "Import Options" checkbox checked it will result in "Access Violation" error. The solution is to uncheck this checkbox or not to import while installing but do it later from the Configuration, using the "File->Import and Export->Import Window Rules..." menu item.

Having problems with IE7 beta. AWM tends to lock up IE7 on my machine. Have to shut IE7 down. Runs OK on firefox.
