Topic: «AWM with Stardock's Object Dock , No Window Control Menus when program is run from the dock » on forum: Beta Testing

Hello,

I am using AWM 4.5 beta and cannot seem to get any AWM window context control menus if I run programs by clicking on an icon on the bar from Stardock's Object Dock V1.9 program, but if I run programs from the Vista Start Menu > Programs (meaning not from Object Dock) the AWM context menu items appear to work fine.

Any suggestions?

Hello Glenn,

I think the problem is that Stardock Object Dock is excluded from Actual Window Manager's processing by default. Please check it and let us know.

I am still having this problem with 5.0 beta 1. I have unchecked Stardock Object Dock from the exclusions section of the program and restarted the machine. If I run applications from Windows explorer the AWM menus do appear.

DELL Inspiron XPS Gen 2, 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD
nvidia 7800GTX Video Card, Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit
Actual Window Manager 5.0b1
Stardock ObjectDock Plus 1.90.537u

Glenn,

Could you please specify: is AWM present in Task Manager, in Processes, when it is launched via Object Dock?
