I want to get rid of the UAC-popup that shows up each time the computer starts in Windows Vista. Make it work without warnings!

Niklas,

You can get read of the UAC-popup by disabling the Command Prompt Windows Support feature (if you don't need it constantly), you can do it at the Command Prompt Windows Options Property Sheet.

You can also use the related article1 and article2, though we do not recommend you to use these methods.

Hi Niklas,

you can use Elevator to specify that you want to elevate some action (http://msmvps.com/blogs/martinzugec/archive/2008/05/16/ignore-uac-for-specific-programs.aspx). If you check my blog, there is also way how to create shortcut that will do it for you. If you create shortcut for command prompt windows support feature, it should work automatically.

Martin
