I'm posting here just to confirm 100% compatibility of Actual Window Manager with Windows 8 Developer Preview public build released by Microsoft this week.

Just need to adjust the style to match the new look of Windows 8. See screenshot bellow.

I hope new buttons can be released soon.

Thanks!

Hello zegames zegames,

Thanks for the post.

Some changes may occur in the interface of Windows 8 Release Candidate.
That's why there is no reason to change the buttons style at the moment.

AMW 6.6 enabled cause instant crash to IE 10.
What version of Internet Explorer (x32 or x64) does this problem occur with?

Best regards.

I have found Windows 8 to be most interesting when interacting with AWM.

I use AWM to make my tablet TabTip transparent and roll-up. AWM has no effect with the Windows 8 TabTip and making even #32768 transparent is hit/miss. Only TransWin can effectively set Windows 8 transparency properly, and it must have its "use safe mode" transparency switch set.

Windows 8 certainly offers AWM both challenges and opportunities. Exciting times are ahead!
