It would be great if the Actual Window Manager also supports programs that do not seem to follow the Windows standards.
If I estimate that correctly, these are mainly programs that have their own functions in the title bar.
My main concern is the possibility to
deactivate the close button
.
At the moment this function does not work in the following programs installed by me:
- Axure 9 beta (
https://www.axure.com/blog/axure-rp-9-beta/
)
- WhatsApp
- Prepros 6 (
https://prepros.io/downloads, typical electron App
)
- Honey view (
https://de.bandisoft.com/honeyview/
)
- Google Chrome (it works somehow, but then again not)
Sometimes you can place the Extra button for the title bar (AltMin) over the close Button, but it doesn't really work smooth.

Hello fishmi,
Thank you for the post!
We'll investigate how we can avoid the issue and inform you about our results.
Best regards.

I'm glad to notify you that the Minmize via Close button and Prevent window's accidental close features were improved and now should work for most applications it didn't previously work with. The fix is available in
the latest version of Actual Window Manager 8.14.6.1
and our other products as well.
You can update your program to the latest version (program's tray icon context menu > Info > Check for Updates) or download the latest version manually, install it and confirm the fix.
Please let us know if the feature still doesn't work with some of the applications you use.
Best regards.
