I tried V6.2 and I liked it so decided to purchase V6.5 and upgraded (or downloaded the .exe and just installed it) but now I get the error.

Runtime library version mismatch, asking me to log off and on and/or reset..

searches of this forum pointed to aimemb.dll to delete it... but I didn't have that on a full C drive search...

Any other tips? Registry edits and/or files that may removed/deleted to allow me use the program?

Tips and suggestions will be grately appreciated.

Hello Paul,

Thanks for the message.

Does restarting your system solve this problem or not?

Best regards.

Nope,

I even ran a reg program that sweeps for unused/dead keys incase. (after I'd uninstalled it)

then re-installed it.

Hello Paul,

Thanks for the message.

Does Actual Window Manager work correctly after re-installing?

What OS are you running (version, 32 or 64-bit)?

Best regards.

Nope, it doesn't, I've uninstalled and rebooted a couple of times and I get the same error...

I'm thinking there is a generic file that windows and the app uses that is locked on loading and the app can't updated it, hence giving me the warning..

I'm on Windows Vista 32bit

Regards

Hello Paul,

Could you run Actual Window Manager Configuration, turn on the "Run the library from the installation folder" option (Actual Window Manager -> Actions -> Options -> General -> Run the library from the installation folder) and try to run our software?

Please, inform me about your results.

Best regards.

Same issue here and same workaround works.

Perhaps make this setting the default?

Hello Will.

Making this setting default doesn't make much sense, it's more important is to find what causes this problem in your case.

What OS are you running (version, 32- or 64- bit)?

What antivirus software are you running?

Best regards.
