For what windows do you add a transparent effect with the help of Actual Transparent Window?

I work as a contractor of the Department of Defense. I am working on the Graphical User Interface of a Real Time System right now. I added the translucent effect to some of the windows in the GUI.

Definitely I would like to see a product that supports Linux. I know this is a 180 degree turn, but I do believe that Linux is the next great OS that will compete with Windows and more and more people are using it now. I think you will see great rewards if you provide this product for the Linux console too.
