I just installed the newest 5.5 beta2. I am finding the slow explorer issue seems fixed. However, I still am seeing issues with the Icons in the switcher.
Example: I opened Opera. It moved to the correct desktop. Opera Icon showing in the switcher ok. After opening several more apps (correct icons showing) and working for a while creating some new shortcuts in another windos, suddenly the Opera Icon is the switcher is gone and in it's place is the Sun Vbox Icon. Sun Vbox is one of the apps I opened earlier. Looking further, I find several more switcher windows that have the wrong icon showing. When I move to that window, the App I opened is still there and running, but the switcher shows the wrong icon.

I completely uninstalled AWM. Rebooted. Removed any Registry entries. Re-installed AWM. I am still having an issue with switcher icons either being blank or showing the wrong icon.
