I have "Minimize all command affects only the monitor with mouse" enabled.

I have Mediaportal running on my Secondary and when I use Windows+D with the mouse on my Primary, it minimizes the Secondary as well.

Windows+M does work, but I've always used Windows+D and only just learnt about Windows+M, so perhaps a lot of other users will be used to using Windows+D as well and be confused when it doesn't work, so it would be good if there's a way to make Windows+D observe this setting as well.

Microsoft does suggest Windows+D to minimize all, with Windows+M mentioned as an alternative:

I second that. I had already asked a question about this before I discovered that there is a difference between "Show desktop" and "Minimize all". I think this would be a great addition, because it also allows the "Show desktop button" in the taskbar to only work on the current monitor, which I can do with just the mouse, instead of having to revert to the keyboard to enter Win+M. And by what I read on the link to Microsoft's site there does not appear to be a real difference or important difference between "Show desktop" and "Minimize all", so from that perspective this option also makes sense.

Hi

Just wondering if this has been looked at any further and if it might be implemented sometime?

Regards

Hello Derek.

Actually there are fundamental differences between the Show Desktop and Minimize all commands. The Show Desktop deals with the Desktop and it seems impossible to distinguish between different monitors with this command. For now the only way to realize this feature is to track the Show Desktop command and substitute the Minimize All for the Show Desktop.

Probably this feature will be implemented in the next version of AWM (7.3).

Best regards.

Hi Bogdan

I understand the problem. If you can trap the Show Desktop command (whether triggered by Win+D or the Show Desktop button on the end of the taskbar) and substitute Minimize All, that would be very nice.

Regards
